  • Full deposit is refundable if the cancellation is 90 days or more prior to the start of the rental;
  • 50% of the deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is 30 days or more prior to the start of the rental; and
  • Full deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is within 30 days prior to the start of the rental. In the event that the cottage can be rented on such short notice, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
  • During the pandemic this past summer, we had to make tentative reservations until cottage rental restrictions were lifted by the government. Had the restrictions remained, full deposits would have been returned. One family from the US cancelled due to travel restrictions and they were fully refunded. I asked each family prior to their arrival to indicate that they had no symptoms, have not travelled outside of the country, have not been diagnosed/exposed etc… I really hope that we will not have to have similar worries next summer.

Yes, it is possible to have guests for the day. Please check with us prior to making arrangements. There should not be more than 16 people at the cottage at any time and no, you cannot have five new people each day. Our septic and water systems cannot sustain such use. 

No, we are not able to accommodate weddings or any other large gatherings even for a short period of time. Rocky Crest Golf Resort, just down the road from us, is able to host events on this scale.
